Concise Energy

Three-phase power supplies tend to be mounted in more extensive residential or commercial properties, which is safer for high-demand applications where security and stability are essential.

Instead of the standard domestic power output of 230 volts, A three-phase supply provides up to 400 volts of power, ideal for heavy machinery, extractor units, heating and motorised pumps.

A three-phase system requires equal amounts of current flow through each of the conductors. This is called phase balancing, something that Concise Energy does with all installations.

The best way to tell if a property has a three-phase supply is by looking at the electrical fuse (sometimes called electricity supply, service head, or cut out). Typically a single phase will have one fuse and a three-phase will have three 100 amp fuses.

In case you are unsure of your premise’s compatibility, we are happy to conduct an electrical audit and recommend what needs to be done in order to get the full benefits of a three-phase electrical system, and how to make savings on your commercial electric bill.
